Advance bookings for camping are appreciated and essential during summer school holidays. to confirm a booking we ask for a 25% non-refundable deposit.
Bookings for our static caravans should be accompanied by a 25% non-refundable deposit.
Payments can be made by card through our online booking system, by bank transfer or over the phone.
If you wish to book a specific pitch number please let us know, we will do our utmost to
accommodate your request but cannot guarantee it. (Group bookings are subject to a small
good behaviour security deposit, please ask for further details).
Your confirmation is a contract between yourselves and Sunnymead Farm, if you wish to add any extras to your booking this can be done by contacting reception and payment of any additional fees.
Any other amendments to the booking, after the confirmation has been issued, can be made subject to availability
and payment of an administration fee.
Any balance outstanding must be paid 28 days before arrival, it is your resposibility to make sure payment is made on time.
Cancellations or Curltailment of your stay
Refunds are not given under any circumstances.
We strongly recommend you take out suitable travel/cancellation insurance.
Sunnymead Farm are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event they are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond their control. Such circumstances shall include (but not limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events ("ForceMajeure").
We reserve the right to ask you to leave at any point during your stay if the behaviour of any member of your party is unacceptable to us and no refund of monies will be paid.
Tents and caravans
Our pitches are between 8 and 9 metres wide with variable depths, included in the pitch price is 1 unit (1 tent or caravan) 2 people and 1 car, all extras must be booked in and paid for in advance.
If your tent requires more space you may need to book 2 adjoining pitches, additional pup tent can be added as a chargeable extra for the use of children only.
Campervans and Motorhomes
Included in your pitch price is 1 unit (campervan/motorhome) and 2 people, if you wish to have a car with you this will be a chargeable extra
Arrivals and Departures
Camping Pitches - Please pull into the field and check in at Reception before pitching. Your pitch will be
available for you from 1pm on your arrival day and we ask that you vacate by 11am
on your departure day. Early arrivals or late departures can be arranged subject to
availability and payment of a small charge.
Static Caravans - Please park in your allocated parking or drive down to reception. Your van will be available from 4pm and we ask that you vacate by 10am on your departure day.
If you are likely to arrive after 6.30pm please call Reception to arrange a contacless checkin,
please be aware fellow campers may be sleeping.
Extending your stay
We will do our best to accommodate any requests, if you wish to arrange a late departure
or a few more nights with us then we would be grateful for as much notice as possible, but if
on the day you are due to depart you need or wish to stay longer come to Reception before
10am. Please note: This cannot be guaranteed especially during July and August, when the site
We would respectfully request that you show consideration for your fellow campers whilst
staying with us. Sunnymead Farm is a family campsite so we ask all campers to keep noise
levels to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am.
The play area is for the use of children up to the age of 12 only, please supervise your
children at all times whilst they use the equipment and please note that they do so at your
own risk. The proprietors of Sunnymead farm can in no way be held responsible for any
accidents. Please note: for the safety of the farm animals and wildlife the use of water
bombs & BB Guns are prohibited on site.
All waste must be placed in the correct containers within the recycling area. For large items
(Barbecues, Tents, Tables, Chairs etc) directions for the Ilfracombe recycling centre can be
obtained from Reception, under no circumstances should they be left on your pitch or
within our recycling area.
Our aim is 'Zero to Landfill' please help by sorting your waste into the correct contaners,
and taking large broken items to the Ilfracombe Recycling Centre
We provide 16A plug-in points on all ehu pitches. Generators are not allowed on site.
Charging of electric vehicles including full EV or plug in Hybrid is not permitted on site.
Please drive extremely slowly as there will be children and animals that will not see you.
Are most welcome but please keep them on their leads whilst on site and clean up after
them, thank you.
Toilets & showers
These are provided free of charge, and are open 24hrs for your convenience so please
consider your fellow campers and leave them as you would wish to find them. Please advise
Reception if anything is not to your satisfaction as although they are checked and cleaned by
ourselves at least 4 times a day they are only as clean as their previous occupants.
Barbecues & Fire Pits
You are welcome to use barbecues and small contained fire pits, but please do not place
them directly on the grass, or use them in a way that will burn the grass
and make sure they are used a safe distance away from Tents and Caravans.
All ash to be placed in the bin by the recycling area and not in hedges or banks.
