    If having a surf lesson, then just relaxing on Woolacombe beach or sampling fresh fish from Ilfracombe Harbour is not enough then North Devon has so much more for you to explore:

     

    15 minutes drive you find the beaches of Croyde, Puttsborough and Saunton Sands. Braunton Burrows which is one of the largest sand dune systems in the UK and has been declared Britains first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve providing habitats for over 400 species of wild flowers.

     

    20 minutes drive has you in the Exmoor National Park, check out the Exmoor ponies, stunning scenery, flora and fauna, Lynton and Lynmouth (little Switzerland) and the cliff railway, one of our favourite places to visit. Another great spot on Exmoor in any weather is Heddon Valley, our boys have enjoyed this valley since they were very young. There is a National Trust Information centre and gift shop along with a car park set in a spectacular NT-owned wooded valley on the West Exmoor coast. The area offers many beautiful coastal and woodland walks along with a dog and child friendly pub Hunters Inn
