• Four Legged Friends

Our animals, your four legged friends and wildlife are really important to us here at Sunnymead Farm.

We welcome dogs free of charge as we know how important they are as part of our families,
we do not believe that your dog who probably did not ask to come and who will not be
using our toilets and showers, nor plugging anything into our electric should have to pay to
come and stay with us, all we do ask is that their well-behaved owners keep them on leads
    and pick up after them.

Our old pony Ranger along with his friends Gizzy & Edwina love to be stroked and fussed over, they will most likely come over and welcome you if you have one of the pitches directly overlooking their paddocks.

Gizzy & Edwina joined us in August 2019 following the sad loss of our Donkey Holly. They are Miniature Horses and as you can see are rather tiny, this means they do not need as much food as they would like to eat, so we have to ask everyone not to feed Ranger, Gizzy & Edwina so we can monitor their food intake.

Jakki our dog you may meet walking around the site with us.

2023 - we have adopted two young tabby cats called Maxi & Nala, you may see them around and about but they are still a little shy and still getting used to their new surroundings.

We have had both free range Chickens and Ducks in the past and do plan to have more in
the future, when there are a few less foxes around.

    Unofficial seasonal visitors include:
    Swallows
    Rabbits
    Buzzards
    Grey Squirrels

Not forgetting the odd mole or frog.
Around the site you will find bird houses tucked away and bird feeders please feel free to
add your own food should you wish, the birds appreciate it all year long.

In the neighbouring field depending on the time of year you may just find grass or there can be sheep or Devon Cattle

Not only are we really dog friendly but so is the majority of our local area.
